    Executive Forums

The Executive Forum is premised on a simple premise: that problem solving is greatly enhanced through discussion with peers in a context of trust. Executive Forums are run with strict confidentiality.

In our Executive Forum groups, members meet regularly to engage in experience sharing to tackle their ongoing strategic challenges. Experience sharing is a well-established method for enhancing learning, creativity and problem solving.
It is a means for participants to discuss their real and current challenges, and to solve problems with the help of comparable experiences of others.

Today we run three CEO groups, one Board group, one CFO group and one EVP HR group.

Emerging Business Opportunities in the Swedish Export Industry

Strategic foresight entails identifying, assessing and entering new markets. For companies that want to play a part in these emerging businesses, early positioning is often crucial.

In this project, we focus on global growth areas. The project maps emerging business opportunities and conduct deeper analyses of select areas. The analysis is carried out using data analysis, surveys and through a close dialogue with relevant companies. Throughout the process we conduct round table discussions, workshops and provide meeting platforms for industry stakeholders and policy makers.

The research perspective is market rather than technology oriented with a time perspective of 3 to 5 years. Even though the studies are global in scope we particularly look at the potential role of Swedish companies and consequences for the Swedish market. The project is financed and carried out on behalf of VINNOVA, the Swedish Governmental Agency for Innovation Systems

    Roadmap Sweden

Roadmap: Sweden is a multi-stakeholder business consortium to promote electric vehicles in Sweden. Blue Institute led the process of developing a roadmap for how businesses can prepare for, support and benefit from the electrification of the transport sector, while at the same time showing how electrification will affect competitiveness, job creation and the environment. The roadmap was handed over to Sweden’s Minister for Enterprise, Annie Lööf, in March 2013. The project continues to work for the mobilization of automotive suppliers, infrastructure providers, service providers and well as end-users around electrification.
